Lauren Sansaricq (b. 1990) grew up in Colombia County, NY where from an early age she was not only exposed to the beauties of the Hudson Valley, but also under the teaching of Thomas Locker, was exposed to the traditional painting techniques of the Hudson River School. Taking Mr. Locker’s advice Lauren received a classical education in drawing and painting at the Grand Central Academy of Art in NYC. She has three times been awarded the Hudson River Fellowship where she has continued to study nature and produce paintings in the tradition of the Hudson River School. Lauren’s paintings have been exhibited and collected in venues throughout New York State including Manhattan. One of Lauren’s paintings was recently featured in the New York Times representing “The Great Hudson River Exhibition.”

Paintings on show at History Meets The Arts this weekend June 9th -11th

Excited to announce I will have paintings at the History Meets the Arts Show once again this year. Erik Koeppel and I will be in attendance at the show. So feel free to stop by see our work and ask us questions.

Here’s some info:

SHOW HOURS

FRIDAY JUNE 9, 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM (Opening night preview party – $35.00 entry fee)

(Free admittance Saturday and Sunday)

SATURDAY JUNE 10, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

SUNDAY JUNE 11, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM(Artists are not scheduled until 12:00 noon on Sunday)

I am proud to announce I am one of the participating artists at The Mohonk Mountain House’s plein air event ‘Artist’s Inspiration Week’. I always love painting in the Hudson Valley so this should be an amazing trip! This event is open to the public, so stop by and join the fun! Also this event should be of interest to collectors and artists alike as there will be an ongoing exhibition of all the participating and featured artists works!
