I recently returned from an amazing painting trip with my sister to Australia & New Zealand. Australia’s landscape and beaches were astounding! The people were friendly and the food was delicious too! In Australia, I spent quite a bit of time in Sydney, painting at Bondi Beach, Coogee Beach , and Maroubra Beach. Also I painted at Summer Bay, Palm Beach, Mona Vale and The Three Sisters. In Melbourne, I painted at The Halfmoon Bay in Black Rock and caught an amazing sight of Red Bluff! Here are some of my landcape paintings made during my trip:

Trip and Artist Demo in Louisiana!

Excited to announce that as part of the Shadows-on-the-Teche Plein Air 2018 event, I will be doing a demo this Friday, March 16th in New Iberia, Louisiana! It starts around noon and is a 45 min. demo where I will discuss traditional landscape painting using a layered approach!

Also excited to mention my partner Erik Koeppel is going to be the judge for the Shadows-on-the-Teche Plein Air Competition, and in addition will be teaching a workshop! So if you are looking to learn from Mr. Koeppel, sign up now! Here is more information about the event, workshop and schedule:
