Plain Air Convention in Red Rock Canyon

Recently Erik Koeppel and I attended the first annual Plein Air Convention held in Las Vegas.  Hosted by Plein Air magazine , the event contained about 500 painters. Most of the outdoor painting was done just minutes from the convention in Red Rock Canyon. The convention was a blast , and it was also amazing for me to see America’s western landscape for the first time. Here are some images of some of the paintings on my trip:
